To coincide with the new opencallto submissions for Manifesto 8 I've just seen that Wolstenholme Creative Space are having a Record and Zine fair to show and sell independent zines from around the country and further a field. Might be neat to maybe get some made up (either of this new batch or of the faliure batch) and look to get them into this fair.

Yeah I think this is worth a shot, personally I would like to see Manifesto being represented at fair likes this, introducing the zine to a wider audience. This provokes the question, are we willing to invest in Manifesto so that this can happen? I know I am and a couple of others have mentioned they can contribute to the publication costs of future issues but is this a direction we want to take the zine?
ReplyDeleteI think this would be a good thing to discuss on Sunday & I'm definately up for the 'zine fair. I'll give them a ring and find out about getting a table & costs etc
