KOONStler

Decided to make this whilst bored on the train coming back from a great degree show at Carlisle.

 Craig, still loving Jeff Koons

  1. The more I look at this the more I hate it!

  2. I've been thinking about this since you put it on here... and I can't see what it does except exist as a mildly amusing pun. There's no depth, no reward for engaging with it.

I think there could be some mileage in your Koons/Kunst pun but this isn't it. not yet.

  3. I feel the same about it, I think that's why I hate it it doesn't seem to do anything. I was more interested in how to take what I have doing further, seemed logical to try making sign digitally to see if the aesthetics or connotations would add weight to a slightly amusing pun but I agree this isn't it, I think the one above is more successful as it appears to be more dominant than this. However this was just a sketch done on a train, thought I'd throw up on here so everyone can see where the work is going. Whilst my studio is a gallery for the next 8 days I'm going to do some audio/video work using this koons/kunst pun, see what happens.
